Paulina gained the title of jeweler the year 2004, form the “Centro de Formación Técnica Escuela de Artes Aplicadas”
The following year she travelled to Italy to study stone setting in the School Consorcio de Joyeros Napolitanos “Il Tarí”.
In 2006 her search for improvement in her career brought her to the School of Fachoschule Pforzheim in Germany , where she studied for a year and a half.
She came back to Chile in 2008 and set up her own workshop as an independent jeweler, she participated in fairs and dictated private classes.
In 2011 she founded Luzyda creative studio that currently developes three collections of jewellery: Ha, joyas de Luz, Huasa and Ah’i
Paulina is an active member of Association Joya Brava.
She has exhibited in many shows in Chile and also internationally participating in group exhibitions in Germany, Spain, Argentina and Perú.
Her work has been published in books such us The Compendium Finale of Contemporary Jewelers 2008” and “500 Wedding Rings”.
Her work is impregnated with a necessity of expression. She is interested in developing pieces that reflect the intimate relation between the jewel and the user. The pieces hope to be more than a value and aesthetic pleasure, a creation charged with symbolism, that is part and accomplice the user.
